Coaching From Anywhere

Virtual Lessons

Online instruction lets you train with a real coach no matter where you're based — live over Zoom or FaceTime, or as a video ride review with a full audio breakdown of tips and advice.

Getting Started

How Do Virtual Lessons Work?

1

Set Up Your Camera

Have a friend film your ride while we talk through wireless earbuds (charge everything, and put your phone on do not disturb) — or ride solo with a tracking tripod like Pivo. I'll help you get it set up.

2

Ride As You Normally Would

Film your warm-up unless I say otherwise — for both live lessons and video reviews, I want to see your horse from start to finish.

3

Jumping Lessons

A friend on hand to reset rails or change distances is a big help, but if you're solo I'll send exercises and courses with measurements to set up beforehand. Riding alone with a tripod? Keep the ring to yourself, as tracking systems will sometimes follow the wrong horse.

Plan B

What Happens If It Rains?

You've waited days for your lesson, your horse is tacked up, and the skies open up. Don't panic — here's how we make the most of it.

Groundwork Instead

A covered shed or barn aisle works great for cadence, straightness, softness, and lateral flexion — all of which carry straight over to your ride. Very underrated!

Send a Video Review

A great backup option any time — not just for weather, but thrown shoes, sick days, or anything else that comes up.

Ride Under Shelter

If it's not too severe, keep your lesson time as planned and just move your tripod under cover — Pivo can still track from a shed or barn aisle opening.
